A Women’s Wellness Review begins at 5 p.m. today at the Holmes Student Center, Room 506.

The D.I.V.I.N.E. Women of Culture organization is sponsoring the free seminar and encourages all to attend.

“The event is intended to provide people with the opportunity to discuss women’s health issues,” D.I.V.I.N.E. President Veronica Garcia said.

“We’ve got a lot of input from our members concerning questions about cancer, sex issues and STDs,” she said. “The goal is to get more answers.”

D.I.V.I.N.E. Women of Culture is a Student Association-recognized organization that hopes to “promote diversity through fellowship and intellectual endeavors that inspire leadership, foster growth, support women in their academic, social and professional communities.”

The meeting will include guest speaker Martha Stover of Market America Inc. who specializes in the field of health and nutrition.

A question-and-answer session with Stover also will be included in the seminar.

“We hope to learn a little on topics women are interested in,” Garcia said.

A raffle also will take place during the event.

People interested in participating in the event are being asked to pre-register, but it is not required.

Those who wish to pre-register should call Quinette Sterling at 787-1339 or e-mail [email protected].
