Five movies that aren’t nominated

“The Score” – For a movie that stars Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton, it sure didn’t get much buzz. But that doesn’t mean that the movie features bad performances. In fact, the three work perfectly together and prove why they are among the best in their craft. The story line, which has DeNiro as an aging burglar and Norton as the punk new guy, is a little stale, but the acting by far makes up for the weak writing. And with Frank Oz directing the movie, the action is in good hands. Oz plays with the movie’s tempo, but by the end, the audience understands why he chose to film it that way.
