DeKALB — NIU announced Friday two people in the NIU community have tested positive for COVID-19; one person is a student and one person is an employee, according to NIU’s Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. 

The dashboard began documenting positive campus coronavirus cases Wednesday. Data reflects students, faculty and staff who were physically on campus within 14 days of testing positive for COVID-19, according to the dashboard website. 

The dashboard will be updated daily each weekday by 4 p.m., according to the dashboard website.
