DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday 11 additional students and one employee have tested positive for the coronavirus; one employee has recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 32 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive. 

In total, 37 members of the community have tested positive for the coronavirus, and three have recovered. 

As of Tuesday at 10:02 p.m., NIU is at 22% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 6% increase from Monday.
