DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday seven additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 39 students and two employees are currently positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 44 community members have tested positive for COVID-19, and three have recovered.

As of Wednesday at 3:15 p.m., NIU is at 30% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 8% increase from Tuesday.
