DeKALB — NIU announced Friday 20 additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 69 students and two employees are currently positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 77 community members have tested positive for COVID-19, and 6 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3:08 p.m., NIU is at 54% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 10% increase from Thursday.
