DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday eight additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 124 students and two employees are currently positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 158 community members have tested positive for COVID-19, and 32 have recovered.

As of Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., NIU is at 28% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 3% decrease from Tuesday.
