DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday five additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 122 students and one employee are currently positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 163 community members have tested positive for COVID-19, and 40 have recovered.

As of Thursday at 3:15 p.m., NIU is at 26.3% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 1.7% decrease from Wednesday.
