Dashboard: 5 more students test positive for COVID-19, 13 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday five more students have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 13 more students have recovered from COVID-19, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 50 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive. 

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 187 Huskies who’ve tested positive for the coronavirus, and 135 total Huskies have recovered. 

As of Wednesday at 3:11 p.m., NIU is at 10.17% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 2.54% decrease from Tuesday.
