DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday four additional students and one employee have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 40 students and 3 employees are currently positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 192 community members have tested positive for COVID-19, and 149 have recovered.

As of Thursday at 5:15 p.m., NIU is at 7.62% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 2.55% decrease from Wednesday.
