- Birding Hike: A bird hike will take place from 6 to 7 a.m. at NIU’s Lorado Taft Field Campus, 1414 North River Road, Oregon, IL. The hike is for adults only and participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, bird guides and walking shoes. The fee for residents is $5 and $6 for non-residents.
