3 additional students test positive for COVID-19.

DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday that no additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, and three have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 29 students and four employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 297 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 264 have recovered.

As of Tuesday at 3:40 p.m., NIU is at 11.9% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 2.9% increase from Monday.

NIU announced Wednesday the COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
