One additional student tests positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that one additional student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and no students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 22 students and three employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 323 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 298 have recovered.

As of  Thursday at 3:30 p.m., NIU is at 5.6% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 1.4% increase from Wednesday.
