DeKALB — NIU announced Monday that 10 additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Monday, 31 students and three employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 336 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 302 have recovered.

As of  Monday at 3:20 p.m., NIU is at 4.9% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 0.6% increase from Friday.

The NIU COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
