- NIU Esports and STEMFest’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament: Join NIU Esports and STEM Fest’s Online Super Smash Bros. - Introduction to Mindfulness: Counseling and Consultation Services will host a virtual overview of mindfulness and how to apply it with a guided meditation and mindful techniques. The event is held at noon via Zoom. Contact Kelsey Boll at 815-753-1206 for more information.
- Resource Panel: Preventing and Responding to Sexual Assault on Campus: Join the Pick Museum of Anthropology and the Center for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality at 1 p.m. for panelists to review NIU initiatives to respond and prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. - Social Justice Town Hall: Whiteness and the Construction of Race: The Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office will host a town hall at 11 a.m. to discuss the construction of race, how whiteness is manifested in society, and how these ideas are duplicated by systems of oppression. - CODE 1 Workshops – First Year Success Series: The Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office will offer CODE workshops for first-year students to learn how to effectively engage in conversations and resolve conflicts.
