Four additional students test positive for COVID-19.

DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday that 11 additional students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 53 students and six employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 387 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 328 have recovered.

As of  Tuesday at 3:20 p.m., NIU is at 9.2% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 0.6% increase from Monday.

The NIU COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
