13 more students, 1 employee test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that 13 additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and no students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 66 students and seven employees are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 408 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 335 have recovered.
As of Friday at 3:20 p.m., NIU is at 13.5% quarantine and isolation use, this is a 2.5% increase from Thursday.
