8 more students, 2 employees test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that eight additional students and two employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and seven students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 52 students and 11 employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 446 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 383 have recovered.

As of  Friday at 3:15 p.m., NIU is at 12.3%  quarantine and isolation use, this is a 0.6% increase from Thursday.
