NIU’s Gender and Sexuality Resource Center will host two virtual panels for students to learn about the LGBTQ+ community from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 21.

The meeting, held via Zoom, will have the members of the LGBTQ+ Speakers Bureau share their experiences as “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and additional queer identities,” according to the event’s webpage. Afterwards, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the Bureau members.

The goal of this event is for students to connect with members of the LGBTQ+ community and “to increase awareness and knowledge about sexual orientation and gender identity,” according to the events webpage.

To attend this event, participants must pre register through Zoom.
