4 more students, 1 employee test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday that four additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and 16 students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 39 students and 10 employees are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 531 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 482 have recovered.
As of Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 4.3% quarantine and isolation use, this is a 0.6% increase from Monday.
