6 more students test positive for COVID-19, 3 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that six additional students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and three students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 42 students and seven employees are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 578 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 529 have recovered.
As of Friday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 5.5% quarantine and isolation use, this is a 1.2% decrease from Thursday.
