DeKALB – The Tails Humane Society’s pet of the week for Feb. 22 is a 70-pound pit bull named Barnabas.

Barnabas has a mysterious past, but the shelter thinks he may be housetrained.

His favorite activities include snuggling up for hugs and kisses and playing with treats and toys, according to the Tails Humane Society’s description on their webpage.

Barnabas gets along well with people but is too rough with smaller dogs, and doesn’t vibe well with large ones. He also has a habit of jumping up, so a home without kids is recommended, according to the Tails Humane Society’s webpage.
