- Huskies Thank Women: The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center is celebrating women in our everyday lives throughout the month of March. Share an image of a woman you want to celebrate and stage @NIU_GSRC on Instagram or on Facebook.
- Conference on Undergraduate Research & Engagement (CURE) Info Session: Need guidance putting together your CURE presentation or more insight on the registration process? Tune in to the online information session that will be hosted through Microsoft Teams from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
- Resume Q & A: Career Services will host a virtual resume writing workshop at 11:00 a.m. for students who are creating their first resume or updating their resume. Contact [email protected] for more information.

- Engineering Hour & Virtual Guided Tour: Learn about careers in engineering, research, student organizations and the hands-on learning experiences that students can participate in this virtual video chat from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Contact [email protected] for more information.
- Women’s History & Allyship Discussion: Join WGAA and the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center’s Speakers Bureau for a women’s history month celebration and interactive virtual discussion on allyship. - Outdoor Adventures Craft Night: Affirmation Rock Painting: Take time from the stress of class to create and paint rocks with kind words. Register for a 45-minute session starting at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. Register online: $5 for students, $7 for non-students. The event will be at the Student Recreation Center.
Tuesday
- Hospitality 320 “Ellington’s” served at The Depot: Enjoy Hawaiian BBQ Pineapple Chicken Wrap, Macaroni Salad, and a Hawaiian Tart for only $7.99. “Ellington’s” will be served at The Depot C-store located in HSC at 12:00 p.m.
- Finding Forward: Students will learn the definition and application of featured coping skills rooted in acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches. The event will be run through Microsoft Teams at 1 p.m. Contact Giselle Navarro at [email protected] for more information.
- Resume Trends & Forecasts for 2021: The Graduate School will be hosting an online workshop that will cover trends in resumes at 4 p.m.

- Art & Identity Project: The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center will host a community art project and discussion on intersectional feminism through Microsoft Teams at 3 p.m.

- Outdoor Adventures NOLS 2021 Exploration Film Tour: This virtual event will feature five short films that aim to inspire adventurers to pursue their dreams, advocate for change and challenge their perceptions of inclusion in the outdoors. The event begins at 6 p.m. on Zoom.
- Outdoor Adventures Night Hike: Explore the nighttime woods and learn about nocturnal critters. Meet at the West Lagoon in front of Stevenson South. The event will be at 8 p.m. Registration is required.

- Overcoming Fear: Re-training Your Brain – Part I: In this virtual event, participants will gain an understanding of the origins of their fears and the ways in which we can manage fear. Registration is required.
- Everyday LinkedIn: Learn the five things you should do on LinkedIn every day to take advantage of this amazing platform for your career success. The event will be virtual at 11 a.m.
- Introduction to Mindfulness: Counseling and Consultation Services will host a brief overview via Microsoft Teams at noon to discuss mindfulness and how to apply it with a guided meditation. Contact Kelsey Boll at 815-753-1206 for more information.
- Lorgia García Peña: “From Theory to Practice: How Can Ethnic Studies Methodologies Help Decolonize the University”: A virtual event that will cover Latinx Studies from global perspectives. The event will be at noon. Contact Latino Studies at l[email protected].

- Job Searching: What Skills Should I Be Emphasizing When Applying for Jobs and Internships?: learn how to use NIU’s Career Pathway Dashboard to search the job market by occupation, skills, employer, and geographic demand. This event will be at 4 p.m.
- Academic Drop-In Sessions: Join the students and staff of the Asian American Resource Center for Academic Drop-In Sessions. Work on your assignments and learn study strategies while connecting with other students affiliated with the AARC. This event will be at 5 p.m.

- Outdoor Adventures Outdoor Leadership Series: Introduction Session: This series aims to introduce as many outdoor and leadership skills to students who share this desire for change as possible. This event is at the Student Recreation Center at 5 p.m. Registration is required.
