DeKALB — The week of March 8 is going to be sunny with temperatures decreasing and a chance for rain. Forecast data was provided by the National Weather Service

 

Monday

Monday will be partly sunny, with a high near 54 degrees. There will be southwest winds 5 to 15 mph going west northwest in the afternoon. Monday night will be partly cloudy with patchy fog and low of 36 degrees.

 

Tuesday

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and gradually become sunny, with a high near 59 degrees. There will be south wind around 15 mph in the afternoon. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 51 degrees and a 40% chance of showers after 3 a.m. 

 

Wednesday

Wednesday showers will be likely with a possible thunderstorm before noon, then mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Wednesday will have a south wind of 15 to 25 mph and gusts as high as 40 mph. The chance for showers and potential thunderstorms remains overnight with a low around 53. The chance of precipitation is 70%.

 

Thursday

Thursday lingering showers remain with a high of 57 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 80%. The showers are expected to clear up between the overnight hours with Thursday night becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 35. 

 

Friday

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 49. Temperatures drop to a low around 31 as cloud cover increases overnight. 

 

Saturday

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a daytime high near 45 and a low around 28 degrees overnight.

 

Sunday

Sunday has another slight chance for rain and possible snow with a high near 42.
