DeKALB — Calling all bird fans old and new! The Inclusive Birding Club at NIU will be hosting a virtual “Birds N’ Brews” event via Zoom from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday.

Anyone is welcome to attend, hence the “inclusive” aspect, as no previous birding experience is necessary. Participants can be experienced birders, new to birding or have never been birding at all, according to the club’s website.

The hour-long event will be about “ birding hotspots, cool birds we saw this week, conservation issues, and more,” according to the events calendar.
