The spring season represents growth and the sprouting of plant life. Flower pens are an easy craft to make and perfect for college students. Not only will they bring life into your residence hall or apartments, but they also make pens more accessible if this bouquet is placed on desks. 

Supplies: 

• Pens (amount based on preference)
• Green floral tape
• Faux flowers with stem
• Small vase
• Rocks

These supplies can be bought at craft stores such as Michaels, 2341 Sycamore Road, or Dollar Tree, 2060 Sycamore Road, for a cheaper option. 

Steps for the flower pens: 

1. Put the flower and stem against the pen. The top of the stem should be aligned with the top of the pen, so only the flower will show.
2. Take the green floral tape and wrap the entire length of the pen to cover the pen and the stem of the flower. Make sure to leave the tip of the pen uncovered in order to still allow ink to come out.
   

   

Steps for the vase:

1. Fill the vase halfway with rocks
2. Put the pens in to display your beautiful bouquet of flower pens
3. Place the vase on your desk
