DeKALB — The weather for the week of April 5 will see above average temperatures and plenty of April showers as we move throughout the week. Forecast data was provided by the National Weather Service

 

Monday

Monday will see a 40% chance for thunderstorms through the midday hours. It will remain mostly cloudy with a high near 76 degrees. The chance for showers decreases to 30% Monday evening with a low around 56.

 

Tuesday

Tuesday will be partly sunny with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The daytime high will be near 73 degrees, with a low around 55 degrees in the evening. 

 

Wednesday

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a 70-80% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high will be near 73 with a southwest wind of 10- 20 mph. Wednesday night will see a continued chance for showers and thunderstorms with a low of 54 degrees. 

 

Thursday

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a 50% chance for showers. Temperatures will reach a high near 62 degrees with a low of around 44 degrees, as rain continues throughout the evening. 

 

Friday

Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 63 degrees and a chance for showers after 1 p.m. Friday night will be mostly cloudy and see a slight chance for rain with a low around 44. 

 

Saturday

Saturday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers. The high is near 58 and the low is around 42.  

 

Sunday 

Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 62 degrees.
