12 students test positive for COVID-19, 6 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday that 12 students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and six students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 44 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 900 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 854 have recovered.

As of Tuesday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 8.0% quarantine and isolation use, a 4.3% increase from Monday.
