7 more students test positive for COVID-19, 6 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that seven students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and six students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 70 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 936 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 864 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 15.3% quarantine and isolation use, a 0.6% increase from Thursday.
