1 additional student tests positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that one additional student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and one student and no employees have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 14 students and one employee are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 144 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 129 have recovered since the semester began Aug. 23.
