Week nine of the 2021 college football season continues this weekend with another couple of big games on the schedule. Let’s take a look at the most anticipated games for this week.

#20 Penn State vs. #5 Ohio State

Penn State is coming off a tough loss to unranked Illinois that took nine overtimes to happen. They look to bounce back against a much tougher Ohio State team led by quarterback C.J. Stroud. This game is looking to be a shootout and could come down to the last few plays to decide the outcome of this one.

It is a big game for both teams as all-conference games are and Ohio State looks to stay on track to have a shot at the end of the season sitting just one spot out of the college football playoffs. While Penn State looks to do all they can to work themselves back to the top of the Big Ten Conference.

The two teams face off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in one of the biggest games of the week.

#1 Georgia vs Florida

The SEC game of the week will be between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators. Georgia looks to stay the top team in the country and continue their undefeated streak going by defeating their conference rival. This can also be seen as a revenge game for the Bulldogs after losing to the Gators last year. Florida looks to repeat and get the same result as they did last year against the Bulldogs and come out on top with a win to pull off the biggest upset of the year.

The two rivals will face off at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in what is sure to be one of the most-watched games of the weekend.

#6 Michigan vs. #8 Michigan State

The biggest game of the weekend goes to this Big Ten matchup between the Wolverines and the Spartans. Both top 10 ranked teams and both have two unblemished records it is sure to be an exciting game to see which team gets handed their first “L” of the season. Not only is this a big game for the rankings but it is also a battle of which team will hold the sole position of the top spot in the big ten conference.

Last year’s game between these two came down to the final minutes as Michigan State was able to squeeze out the victory, beating Michigan 27-24. The Spartans hope to get that same result tomorrow against one of their biggest conference rivals while Michigan looks to have a different outcome this time around.

The two teams will battle it out in the most anticipated game of the weekend at noon on Saturday.
