Settling into these colder months can be difficult. We shouldn’t be discouraged, however. With Daylight Saving Time approaching, we may need to pay close attention to our vitamin D levels. It’s not a bad idea to get some sun while we still can.

Don’t let the chaos consume you. You’re strong and you can deal with the stress, but be willing to accept some outside help. People will not assume the worst of you if you’re simply asking for what you need.

Be smart with your finances. The rule “everything in moderation” is often tricky for you to follow. Challenge yourself by showing restraint. Think about the long-term, but don’t dwell on it thereafter.

Keep on moving. You’ve fallen into patterns, some good, others not. Continue acting on the patterns that best serve you and try to let go of the ones that are potentially destructive. Try out a calming tea blend this week.

Console yourself. You may be feeling somehow neglected, and if this is the case, don’t despair. Learn to treat yourself better for when others are unable. You are your own best friend.

Don’t become dependent. Others can help you, and it’s OK to accept that help, but there comes a point where the tasks may make you seem overwhelming. However, don’t turn to people pleasing, either.

You’re already deep in certain creative pursuits, but you may struggle with finding a balance between this and taking care of your basic needs. Remember to stay hydrated and eat some vegetables once in a while.

Do something small for yourself. It can be easy to disregard the simple pleasures of life, like satisfyingly stomping on a crunchy leaf or hugging a loved one after some time apart. Be mindful of these details that make life special.

Happy birth season! After the rush of Halloween festivities comes a lull which you dread. Find a way to pepper something exciting into your life, whether this comes to you in the form of game night with friends or visiting one last haunted house.

Hold yourself accountable. You may not have done anything wrong, but any guilt that pops up in this time is probably for a reason. Don’t beat yourself up. Just keep on pushing through, and pay special attention to your daily routine.

What are you forgetting about? There is so much to juggle that it can be hard to keep track of your responsibilities. Take a breather, perhaps a mental health day, and come back to your work with fresh eyes.

Don’t overwork yourself. While there is good reason people expect a lot from you, you deserve rest, too. Prioritize your mental health above the quality (and quantity) of your labor.

Continue searching. You’ve been on the lookout for something new, be it a relationship, a job or spiritual fulfillment. It’s so close you can taste it. Don’t give up yet!
