Another interesting week of the NFL has passed with more headlines heading into Week 10 of the season here are the three biggest headlines for the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers/Packers were not punished enough for breaking COVID Protocol rules

One of the biggest headlines the past couple of weeks in the NFL was Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers testing positive for COVID-19 and then finding out that he has been unvaccinated this whole time and had been misleading about it. He was not wearing a mask up until this point and that is a very big rule that the NFL has in place for unvaccinated players. Both Rodgers, as well as his team, knew this and decided to keep everyone unaware of this.

As punishment, Rodgers was fined only $14,000, and the Green Bay Packers as a team was fined $300,000. Players get fined more than Rodgers for far less serious offenses and a billion-dollar organization like the Green Bay Packers is this fine will do no damage to them. The NFL board has handled this situation very badly and just shows either bias or they don’t take their COVID-19 protocols as seriously as they portrayed.

What team will Odell Beckham Jr. be playing for the rest of the season?

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had a rough couple of years with the Cleveland Browns having issues with the team for his lack of involvement with the offense. These problems ultimately have led him to be released and become an unrestricted free agent, allowing him to sign anywhere.

It is believed that he wants to play for a contending team that has a chance to win it all this year. The teams that are seen to have a chance to land Beckham Jr. are the Saints, Packers, Chiefs, Rams, and Patriots. Everyone now just has to wait and see what his final decision will be and how much better he makes the team he signs with.

Cam Newton returns back to the Carolina Panthers

With the Carolina Panthers having quarterback issues with their starting quarterback Sam Darnold getting hurt and not playing that well as of late. The Panthers have decided to sign Cam Newton, who they released just a couple of years ago. With the reunion between the two at this point in time, it seems as though they both need each other once again to be successful. Should be interesting to see if this reunion will be just for a moment or a long-term commitment.
