8 additional students, 1 employee tests positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday that eight additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. Seven students and one employee has recovered. As of Wednesday, 26 students and four employees are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 278 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 248 have recovered since Aug. 19.
