The Huddle closes after 11 years

DeKALB – The Huddle restaurant closed its doors and will no longer be serving the DeKalb Community. Nov. 13 was its last day of service after 11 years as a family establishment.
The Huddle served the DeKalb community for 11 years and came to the decision to close to explore new options. The owners are grateful for the support of their customers, according to their Facebook page.
Customers have expressed their sadness and gratitude in the comments of their closing Facebook post, but The Huddle reiterates that they have built meaningful connections with their customers.
“The food was expensive, but good. Also, the workers were so nice,” Hannah Maley, a marketing major said.
The restaurant has helped its employees learn, grow and serve the DeKalb community, according to their Facebook. The Huddle is grateful for the opportunities and accomplishments offered to them of the last decade.
The space will be occupied soon as mentioned in their closing Facebook post. A new restaurant, Taki’s To Go, will open there soon and The Huddle encourages everyone to try it out.
