This weekend’s biggest NBA matchup is taking place Sunday between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls currently hold the one seed in the eastern conference while the 76ers sit third in the conference. It is sure to be a battle between two top-heavy teams in the eastern conference.

The two teams have already met twice this season with the 76ers having the upper hand on the Bulls by winning each of the first two meetings between the two teams. The two teams, however, have yet to face off against each other at full strength. Both teams have missed key players in both of the previous games that they had against each other. This makes it hard to make a legit assumption on who will have the edge if these two teams were to face off against each other in the playoffs.

It will be the same story once again on Sunday, as the Bulls will be without star point guard Lonzo Ball who is rehabbing from a slight meniscus tear in his knee that has him sidelined the next couple of weeks. Alex Caruso for the Bulls will also be out for an extended amount of time after having surgery on his fractured wrist.

This third matchup will all come down to the stars of each team which will be Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris for the 76ers. While for the Bulls, it will be Demar Derozan and Zach Lavine. Whichever duo has the better performance will most likely determine the result of this game. Not to sleep on the role players either, the benches for each of these teams will have to step up as the stars make plays happen.

With both teams having just one and a half games separating each other, this game is sure to be a crucial one as far as standings and who will hold the tiebreaker.
