Spring break provides college students with a much needed break from their responsibilities. Due to this typically week-long break from school, many students travel to different areas for a spring break vacation. Here are my personal top three spring break vacation destinations.

1. Boulder, CO

Boulder, Colorado is a gorgeous town with a ton of fun things to do, places to eat and places to stay. The city is also close to Estes Park, which is a beautiful park filled with mountains. The park can be driven through or you can park your car and find a trail to explore.

2. Houston, TX

There are many great cities in Texas, however, I haven’t been to them. I have been to Houston and it was a blast. The amount of things to do in and around the city seem endless and the state has “Whataburger;” a must try fast-food restaurant. Houston is also close to the ocean where you can find Kemah Boardwalk. The boardwalk has something for everyone and is a great way to spend a day.

3. Fort Lauderdale, FL

Fort Lauderdale is everything you need in a typical Florida spring break vacation. Great restaurants, a huge public beach and some fun activities as well. The city is home to many people with a lot of money. A great way to spend a day of vacation is to take a boat tour where you can look at all of the waterfront mansions.
