This week, Tails Human Society is featuring a three-year-old dog named Frannie as its Pet of the Week. 

She is a mixed breed that weighs about 50 lbs. Frannie’s a super smart and friendly type of dog that according to Tails, has the cutest freckles. 

She loves playing with toys and is a sucker for tasty treats. While Frannie normally gets along with other dogs well, Tails still recommends a meet-and-greet before adopting.

Frannie suffers from heartworm, which isn’t contagious. Tails are covering her treatments so she can be a happy, healthy, and energetic companion for many years to come. 

Anyone interested in adopting can visit Tails Humane Society on 2250 Barber Greene Rd. Weekly hours are 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
