Barstool Sports to come to NIU

DeKALB — Barstool Sports President David Portnoy announced Friday on Twitter that the Barstool College Football Show will be coming to NIU for the Huskies’ home football game vs. Miami University on Nov. 16.

Renowned Barstool Sports reporters Kaycee Smith and Brandon Walker will be joining Portnoy to host the show, according to IMDb. Dan “Big Cat” Katz, host of Barstool’s incredibly popular podcast Pardon My Take, will also be hosting. 

The crew of Barstool Sports icons will be doing a preview of NIU’s game vs. Miami as well as dissecting other prominent matchups around the country. The show will be streamed on the Barstool Sports website at 10 a.m. ET.

The Nov. 16 matchup is an important one for both teams, being one of the last Mid-American Conference games of the regular season. This “MACtion” contest will be televised on ESPN2/ESPNU at either 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET, according to NIU.
