Untold: The Rise and Fall of AND1 (Netflix)

“Untold: The Rise and Fall of AND1” is a Netflix documentary released on Aug. 23. The sports documentary is about three friends who bring a spotlight to street basketball.

These three friends Seth Berger, Jay Coen Gilbert and Tom Austin turned streetball legends into global superstars. They named their brand AND1 and they started a basketball revolution with their hooping mixtapes and hip-hop.

This brand would start on the streets and make its way into basketball arenas across the United States. It would later expand to Europe as it toured countries like France, Germany and England.

Arenas in the states would sell out and have various celebrities to attend such as Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O’Neal and Wayne Brady.

AND1 would become a household name as they sold various products and would recruit NBA players such as Jamal Crawford, Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury to wear their products.

The show highlights how AND1 basketball made its rise, but would eventually fall.

NFL: Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

It is now the second week of the NFL season and the Bears play the Packers in a division matchup Sunday at 7:20 p.m.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn’t have a great first game last week. He is missing his primary receiver Davante Adams who is now a part of the Las Vegas Raiders. Rodgers lost last week’s game and is having trouble trusting his receivers.

Meanwhile Bears quarterback Justin Fields had a good first-week game with his two touchdowns and victory against the San Francisco 49ers.

The last time the Bears played the Packers, Green Bay won 45-30. Rodgers made some comments after a touchdown he looks into the crowd and said “I own you”.

This is now becoming personal between Rodgers and the Bears with Chicago now seeking a win.
