DeKALB– Outdoor Adventures is organizing a Colorado snowboard and ski trip, where attendees will travel to Crested Butte, Colorado. The trip takes place from Jan. 2 to Jan. 7.

Crested Butte is known to some as the “last great ski town.” The resort spreads 1167 skiable acres, with 18% of the runs being beginner level. Attendees will stay five nights in a condo at the Three Seasons Condominiums. Included with the price of the trip is a three-day lift ticket, a five-night stay in the condo, a snowboard and snowshoe rental from Outdoor Adventures and a snowshoe hike.

There will be an additional cost to take transportation organized by Outdoor Adventures with limited seating. Attendees who do not want to pay the additional fee for transportation have the option to provide their own.

The cost of the trip is $828, $858 or $888 depending on how early participants sign up, with earlier signups lowering the cost of attending. There is an initial deposit of $100. This deposit will secure a spot on the trip and is due Oct. 10, with the final payment being due by Nov. 1.

There will be two informational meetings for the trip. The first meeting will be held today from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the second meeting will be held on Thursday, October 6 from 7 p.m to 8 p.m. Both meetings will be held within the recreation center, at the Leading Lounge. Located on 325 N Annie Glidden Rd, Dekalb IL. Readers unable to attend either of these meetings can view the presentation here

Sign up will be available soon on Echo Trip.
