Egyptian Theatre to host month of horror films

DeKALB — The Egyptian Theatre will host a four-night horror movie series at 7 p.m. every Tuesday during the month of October.

A double featurette, “The Mummy’s Hand” and “The Mummy’s Tomb” will kick off the event on Oct. 4. “Psycho” will stream on the 11th, “Christine” on the 18, and finally “The Shining” will show on the 25. Fans of horror movies or those who just simply want to get into the Halloween spirit should buy their tickets online at the Egyptian Theatre’s website before they’re sold out.

The price of admission is $8 for students who present their NIU OneCard. The price is $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens (65 +). Fans of the theater can sign up with the link above to become a member and receive a free ticket to this event. Those with a membership are not required to sign up for the horror film series event.

Those who buy a ticket can enjoy a night out at the theater for thrills and chills on the big screen during this spooky season.
