The McCartney Years will be performing at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Egyptian Theatre here in DeKalb, bringing fans all the hits from English rocker Paul McCartney’s prime.

The show is set to showcase Paul McCartney in a “period accurate” fashion, according to the performer’s Facebook page. It will showcase authentic wardrobes, setlists, choreography and instrumentation. The band is led by lead singer and multi-instrumentalist Yuri Pool.

The band was originally supposed to appear at the Egyptian Theatre in 2021, but rescheduled to perform this year. They perform worldwide and will be bringing a full backline, and a four-piece horn section just like McCartney’s 1970s live tours.

Ticket prices vary from $19 to $37, depending on seating arrangements. Discounts will be available for seniors and students, and tickets for kids ages 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online through the official Egyptian Theatre website, over the phone at 815-758-1225, or at the door before the performance.

The official Egyptian Theatre will also have COVID-19 restrictions for anyone that plans on attending. If you have any questions or concerns, make sure to contact the theatre before the show.
