What policies do you think are most important to focus on this midterm?
“A lot of things that I think are really important right now are like women’s rights, especially with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.”
“Some things that I think are very important are like health care, health care should be a basic right for all people. Same thing with SNAP benefits and things like that.”
“I think socio-economic problems are almost more important nowadays than I think people realize.”
Why?
“My mom actually suffered a traumatic brain injury, and now lives in a care facility. But I saw some signs of our healthcare system that weren’t great and basically trying to force her living back at home because they didn’t want to pay for her medical to live in a care facility.”
Anything important to add?
“Just people need to get educated and get involved.”

What policies do you think are most important to focus on this midterm?
“I know like when it comes to health care and stuff like that, and how it’s not attainable for a lot of people. And there’s also women’s rights so like, Roe v. Wade.”
“I’m a woman and having a man who thinks that they can just, you know, make these decisions or even some women that make these decisions. It just makes you really angry.”
Why?
“I would just say because, I mean, I identify as a woman, and those are my rights. And I feel very strongly about, you know, having those rights and not having someone tell me when I’m supposed to do or when I’m not supposed to do because it is my choice.”

What policies do you think are most important to focus on this midterm?
“I think currently your biggest issues is debt relief for students, especially since I noticed this year, especially with a lot of freshmen. Also, I feel like we should focus a lot more on terms of the policies of immigration.”
Why?
“Well, for the most part, I know college is expensive for everyone on campus, most college is expensive. It’s not something easy to pay for especially, and it’s something that a lot of people need, especially since a lot of jobs are requiring no higher levels of education.”
