Farewell to the senior editors of 2018

Senior journalism major Victoria Lunacek said, "I think my most favorite moment at the Northern Star would be just working with everybody I work with. I love working with all the photographers and all the editors here have been really good support. We worked really well together and it was a lot of fun.

With spring finally making an appearance, NIU's fluffy and furry friends are coexisting with the student body. Some common critters are squirrels, geese and chipmunks. Keep an eye out for the Tow Foot and Under Club on the way to class.

Reality Bites Brings New Fan Favorites

NIU's 17 annual Reality Bites film festival brought event goers new movie favorites Tuesday night in Cole Hall. Students expressed their favorite films of the night. Many of the films focused on coming of age and current issues throughout the U.S. The festival starts at 9pm and goes Tuesday through Thursday.
