NIU to discontinue motorcoach bus system

Sycamore City Council approves purchase for longtime leased NIU property

The City of Sycamore will be purchasing NIU properties that they have been leasing since 1998 that was used as the College of Engineering.
Members of UPI Local 4100, picketing outside of Altgeld Hall Wednesday after NIU officials ceased negotiations with non-tenured instructors earlier this month and have not begun bargaining talks with tenure faculty. Members of both non-tenure and tenure gathered around a table, which signified the university's absence from bargaining talks.
