1. As part of the transitions workshop series, the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center will host "Gender Identity, Ability and Access" from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, Room 147. This event will focus on the intersections between disability and transgender, gender nonconforming and non-binary identities.

2. The NIU Employee Assistance Program will host their NIU Campus Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom. The fair is open to everyone and will work to enhance knowledge on the seven dimensions of wellness. 

3. To recognize women in law enforcement, the NIU Department of Public Safety will host its 3rd annual Women of the Shield ceremony. Reservations will guarantee a seat for the event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the NIU Naperville conference center.
