With finals week fast approaching, take some time off from studying and check out these recommendations on ideas for what to watch this weekend.

“INSIDE OUT” (Disney+)

“Inside Out” is a journey into our emotions. 11-year-old Riley is forced to move away from her life in Minnesota and to the big city of San Francisco.

Joy (voiced by Amy Poehler), Riley’s dominant emotion, does everything she can to keep Sadness (voiced by Phyllis Smith) from taking over because of the big move.

When Joy and Sadness are removed from Headquarters, where Riley’s emotions reside, only Fear (voiced by Bill Hader), Disgust (voiced by Mindy Kaling) and Anger (voiced by Lewis Black) remain in control. Joy and Sadness must embark on a journey through different parts of Riley’s brain to return to Headquarters.

“Inside Out” tells a story of emotional maturity and how important each emotion is to one’s development. It shows how feeling sad is important for one to feel empathy and ultimately help one to feel joy again.

CHICAGO BEARS VS. ATLANTA FALCONS (FOX)

Justin Fields leads the 3-7 Chicago Bears into Atlanta to take on the 4-6 Falcons at noon CST on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This matchup isn’t the highlight of the week in the NFL, but something to watch is Justin Fields’ continued dominance on the ground. Fields has rushed for a combined 325 yards over his last two games.

Staying with the running game, running back Khalil Herbert was placed on injured reserve this week. It’ll be interesting to see how Chicago adapts due to the hole Herbert leaves in the backfield and how Running Back David Montgomery will be used to keep an effective run-game.

With the Bears in the midst of a rebuild, the continued success for Justin Fields takes priority over getting a win.
