SGA to host Women’s History Month brunch

DeKALB – The Student Government Association, in collaboration with the National Association of Colored Women’s Club, INC will host a brunch to celebrate Women’s History Month. The brunch will be led by a panel of distinguished women in a variety of positions.

The panel includes the CEO of Mommy and Me, Latasha Harris; President of Midtown Medical Center Tamika Burruss; Executive Director for Northwest Home Equity Assurance Program, Ivy Ellis; Former Illinois State Rep. and lobbyist, Litesa Wallace; Internal Medicine Doctor Ashley Mallory; 31st President of NACWC, INC Opal Bacon; CEO of Jada Juices Jada Samuels and special guest Udauk Ntuen.

The event, a “Boss Brunch,” will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Holmes Student Center Capitol Room.

In addition to the panel, there will be food and activities.
