DeKALB – Do you feel the love tonight? Share the feeling at NIU’s first ever Rainbow Rave, hosted by the Student Government Association’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Senate Committee.

Join fellow ravers at 8 p.m. through 11 p.m. Friday at the Holmes Student Center Sky Room for a night of music, games, face painting, food and good times.

The event will have an outfit contest and will give out prizes. Organizers ask that attendees’ outfits be curated with weather in mind, to be non-offensive and to not fall under cultural appropriation.

The goal of Rainbow Rave is to promote peace, love, unity and respect (PLUR) between attendees.

This event is free and open to all those wishing to attend this all-inclusive event. Catering is provided with free food and drink.

To register or to request accommodations, contact the SGA’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Senate Committee on the Huskie Hub events page.
